Short Films

Here, you’ll find a collection of my work as a filmmaker, showcasing the stories I’ve brought to life. Each film reflects my journey as a writer, director, and producer, exploring a variety of themes and genres. I hope you enjoy watching these projects as much as I enjoyed creating them.

Midnight in Argentina

3 New Year’s Parties, One Love Midnight in Argentina is a charming short rom-com that explores the interplay of choice and destiny through the love story of Daniel and Eve. Set against the backdrop of three distinct New Year’s parties, the film navigates parallel timelines where timing, decisions, and fate shape the characters' futures in surprising ways.

As the writer, director, and producer, I created this film on a zero-budget relying entirely on my own resources and the incredible generosity of a talented cast and crew who volunteered their time. Despite these constraints, this project stands as a testament to creative collaboration and determination, showcasing my ability to bring an ambitious vision to life even with limited resources.

Dazed

Dazed is a compelling short film I wrote and co-directed, exploring the psychological struggles of abuse survivors and the journey toward healing. The story follows Daisy, a woman haunted by her traumatic past, as she tries to move forward with her life. However, her attempts to escape are derailed when her daydreams take a sinister turn, pulling her into a nightmarish spiral of self-doubt and self-hatred.

Originally conceived as an artistic experiment in color theory, the project grew into a meaningful exploration of the inner battles faced by those with a history of abuse. Through a blend of visual storytelling and emotional depth, Dazed offers a poignant perspective on the complexities of recovery and the strength it takes to confront one’s own demons.

There's Always Hope.

There’s Always Hope is a heartfelt romantic comedy that follows a year in the lives of Joel and Hope, from their chance meeting on New Year’s Day to their reunion at Christmas—and all the moments in between. This was the first professional short film I created, where I took on the roles of producer and co-writer.

The film was recognized for its engaging narrative, winning the Lumos Lincolnshire Film Award for Best Storyline in 2016. There’s Always Hope marked a pivotal moment in my filmmaking career, highlighting my passion for crafting relatable characters and meaningful stories.

The Underclass

The Underclass is a fun and lighthearted drama for kids that introduces a world of quirky, larger-than-life characters in an unconventional school setting. The story follows the "Underclass," a group of misfit students placed in a unique program where manual labor takes precedence over traditional academics. At the heart of the story is Max, a determined young man with aspirations of becoming a YouTuber and journalist. Max joins the Underclass to uncover its secrets but instead finds himself forming unexpected bonds with his eccentric peers, each of whom brings their own humor, charm, and individuality to the narrative.

Written, created, and directed by me in April 2024, The Underclass was a milestone project that marked my debut as a director and the moment I discovered my passion for filmmaking. With the support of an incredible cast and crew, this no-budget pilot was brought to life, designed to engage audiences aged 10–13. The pilot represents the first half of the opening episode, setting the stage for a series filled with humor, adventure, and heartfelt lessons. Featherweight

Featherweight is a heartfelt sports mockumentary that chronicles the inspiring comeback story of Jack "The Swing" Thomas, a former hero in the world of sport. Written and edited by me, the film follows Jack as he faces a series of setbacks that threaten his once-glorified career. His journey to redemption is as much about overcoming emotional and mental challenges as it is about returning to the ring, making this a compelling story of resilience and perseverance.

Through raw and emotional storytelling, Featherweight delivers a powerful message: no matter how soft life knocks you down, it’s never too late to rise again. This is a tale of strength, determination, and the unyielding belief that the fight isn’t over until you decide it is.
